Key Responsibilities

Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and various judicial proceedings.
Process audio recordings while strictly following established style guides to produce precise, verbatim transcripts.
Maintain exceptional attention to detail to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Collaborate effectively with our supportive in-office team remotely as needed.

Required Skills

Proven experience in legal transcription, court reporting, or scoping.
Excellent listening skills to accurately capture spoken content.
Strong adherence to deadlines and ability to comply with client-specific style guides.
Outstanding literacy skills, including strong comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
Typing proficiency characterized by both speed and accuracy.
Familiarity with legal terminology is essential.
Ability to process potentially sensitive or offensive audio/text content.
Capability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

Significant experience in legal transcription is required.
Relevant training or education in legal transcription, court reporting, or a related field is preferred.
Court reporting students will also be considered for this opportunity.
