This position offers full remote flexibility for Independent Contractors.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
Process audio recordings following specific style guidelines to create verbatim transcripts.
Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in conjunction with a strong command of legal terminology and grammar.
Collaborate with our supportive in-office team for guidance as needed.

Required Skills

Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
Exceptional listening skills and literacy capabilities, including spelling and comprehension.
Strong adherence to deadlines and client-specific style guides.
Proficient typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy.
Ability to process sensitive audio/text content (some material may be distressing).
Familiarity with legal terminology is essential.
Must pass a background check; court reporting students are welcome to apply.
