We’re seeking an Off-Page Content Manager, with a proven track record in creating SEO-focused content and consistency in delivering high quality articles for guest posts, to lead our team of SEO writers. If you are passionate about content and supporting the development of your team, we want you!
A Priorities (60% of time): QA work of freelance writing to ensure a high quality of articles delivered
Goal: Consistency in high quality guest post articles
KPI: Number of articles delivered by the team, based on monthly demand. 90% in the first 3 months, 95% after the first 3 months
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure all articles are submitted within deadlines and manage accordingly
- Proofread articles being submitted by your team to ensure they meet the SEO & editorial standards
- Provide constructive feedback to freelance writers to enhance their development
- Update Brain (internal system) to create writer profiles and maintain accurate data
- Review and approve or reject freelance writers' invoices based on data from the Writer Earnings dashboard in Brain
- Propose adjustments to Brain in order to improve the overall quality of our content delivery system
- Work closely with our Off-Page Department to hit client KPIs in terms of publishing high-quality content on partner websites
- Write 1 premium article per week for guest posting
- Use Originality AI to ensure content is not plagiarised or written by AI
B Priorities (30% of time): Lead & motivate a team of freelance writers
Goal: To create a collaborative and supportive remote working environment and to manage employee retention.
KPI: Freelancer retention rate - 80% YoY
Key responsibilities:
- Lead & motivate a team of 20-30 freelance writers who write for the Off-Page SEO team, providing feedback, guidance, training etc.
- Create a collaborative and supportive remote working environment for your team
- In collaboration with our HR team, develop an efficient and people-centric onboarding process for new freelance writers
- Run effective recruitment campaigns, when required to hire new freelance writers
- Be responsible for creating training guides for your freelance team
- Hold team meetings/1:1 calls to up-skill freelance writers
C Priorities (10% of time): Admin Work
Goal: n/a
KPI: n/a
- Replying to Slack, emails, etc
- Other synchronous meetings
