Job Title: Remote Claims Operations Specialist (100% Work From Home)


Location: Remote from Latin America


Position Type: Full-time


Salary: $1,200 - 1,300 USD/month


Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm EST with 1-hour lunch break



Job Overview:

Our client is disrupting a $40B insurance industry by providing merchants a seamless plug-and-play platform from which to offer product insurance. Their platform not only drives revenue for brands, but also improves customer experience and trust in warranty programs.

As a Claims Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in documenting claims. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in operational and administrative environments and excels at ensuring every detail is correct. You’ll be helping the team maintain accuracy and efficiency in claims reporting to their third-party service providers.


Responsibilities:

  • Claims Documenting: Review and verify the accuracy of expenses submitted by the Customer Experience (CX) team against supporting documents and purchase records.
  • Data Entry and Management: Input correct information into our system, ensuring claims are accurately moved through various stages.
  • Cross-functional Communication: Liaise with CX and finance teams to gather necessary details and resolve any discrepancies in the claims process.


Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Claims Representative or similar role
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy while processing repetitive tasks, ensuring no errors in claims processing or reporting.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Independent Worker: Self-driven and capable of working autonomously, with the initiative to take ownership of tasks and resolve issues proactively.
  • Cross-functional Experience: Proven experience working collaboratively with teams across different functions (e.g., finance, customer service, operations).

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with Zendesk & live chats
  • Familiarity with e-commerce, fintech, or insurance
