Aviation System Sustainment Operations Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a sustainment operations analyst, you know the complexities of supporting a product throughout its life cycle. Many products require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep life cycle sustainment on a predetermined path. That’s why we need you, a sustainment operations analyst who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
On our team, you’ll support a Department of Defense aviation system, focusing on sustainment operations to meet customer readiness requirements. This role involves providing technical support, managing supply chain planning and execution, and collaborating with key stakeholders, including system manufacturers, to integrate sustainment strategy and policy. Additionally, you will evaluate digital collaboration tools to enhance operations and streamline processes for optimal sustainment support. This position will require travel of up to 10% of the time.

You Have:
Experience with supply chain planning, sustainment process execution, and life cycle management for defense or weapon systems
Knowledge of digital collaboration tools, data analysis, and process improvement techniques that support sustainment operations
Ability to assess and optimize digital tools and technical products to enhance collaboration and standardize sustainment processes
Ability to communicate technical insights and recommendations effectively across diverse teams
Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to execute integrated sustainment strategies
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience with sustainment operations, supply chain management, or logistics or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration and 3+ years of experience with sustainment operations, supply chain management, or logistics
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of advanced sustainment and readiness requirements specific to weapons systems
Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Life Cycle Logistics Certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
