Job summary:

As part of the global Total Rewards team, you will be responsible for maintaining benefits data, monitoring and supporting benefits-related compliance activities, answering benefits-related questions, troubleshooting issues, and making sure everything is accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with various types of employee benefit plans, a keen eye for detail, solid knowledge of standard computer and office software and systems, and strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. What You Will Do As A Benefits Coordinator
Manage US and India data entry for benefit eligibility and benefit change activities where we do not have a file feed integration with the vendor. Support our People Systems Team as necessary on any file feed integration activities. Research and resolve benefits data issues, escalating to Benefits Analyst as appropriate.
In partnership with our outsourced benefit services team, conduct eligibility and billing audits and reconcile invoicing; action any benefit rate updates in both Porch and vendor systems to ensure accurate record-keeping, billing and employee payroll deductions.
Facilitate payroll benefit deductions review, HSA and 401(k) funding. Resolve issues or escalate as appropriate.
Facilitate collection of data needed to support multiple state and federal compliance requirements. Assist with submissions and filings as necessary.
Assist with annual renewal and open enrollment activities.
Assist internal and external partners in support of employee benefit inquiries; report on trends in benefit inquiries, help draft communication and education as needed to address.
Assist in the creation of a dedicated employee-facing benefits site; keep benefit-related communications and resources up to date.
Under the guidance of Benefits Analyst, support employees and their managers through their leave process, coordinate with HR Business Partners, leave administrator, employee and managers as appropriate; maintain accurate leave records and documents.
Coordinate workers’ compensation claims with third-party administration. Follow up on claims.
Assist with creating and maintaining standard operating procedures for benefits-related processes.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring As A Benefits Coordinator
At 1-2 years of relevant experience
College degree preferred
Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
Familiarity with an HRIS, preferably Workday
Strong problem-solving, communication skills and attention to detail
High integrity and ability to handle sensitive information

Pay Range*: $20.19 - $26.92 Hourly
*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.
