Job Title: Property Manager

Location: Remote (Ability to work within specified time zones as needed)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of residential and commercial properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, operational efficiency, and compliance with rental regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of property management best practices, and the ability to handle multiple properties remotely using property management software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tenant Relations: Serve as the main contact for tenants and property owners, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring clear communication.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Handle maintenance requests, schedule repairs with vendors, conduct property inspections, and maintain records.
  • Financial Management: Oversee rent collection, manage transactions, track income/expenses, and provide financial reports.
  • Leasing & Tenant Screening: Market vacancies, screen tenants, prepare lease agreements, and coordinate virtual showings while ensuring compliance.
  • Property Operations & Compliance: Manage daily property operations, maintain tenant satisfaction, and ensure adherence to rental laws and fair housing regulations.
  • Technology Use: Utilize property management software (e.g., Buildium, AppFolio, Yardi) for payments, leases, and maintenance tracking, and implement automation tools for efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Mandatory: Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in Property Management, Real Estate Management, facilities management, building management, leasing, housing administration, Airbnb management, construction management, or a related field. Applications without this experience will not be considered.
  • Proficient in English, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with property management software, including Buildium, AppFolio, Yardi, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws, rental compliance requirements, and fair housing regulations.
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting, rent collection, and generating financial reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage maintenance requests efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties remotely.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in maintenance coordination, including vendor management, repair scheduling, and property inspections.

Only candidates who achieve an 80% or higher score on assessments will be considered.
