Job description

Position Purpose: Design, develop, and enhance the company’s digital learning experiences for complex large-scale high priority projects, ensuring the end-learner and business objectives are being met while leveraging the brand, best practices, and innovative techniques in design and adult learning theories.

Expert/Advanced skill level utilizing Articulate 360 software is required in order to meet the expectations for the position. Samples and/or portfolios will be reviewed as a part of the interview process.

***The Senior Digital Curriculum Developer role is fully remote. Candidates will be considered nationally.***

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with leaders to recognize opportunities to streamline and establish efficiency with processes across multiple areas. While leading in the research, recommendation, and implementation of new learning technologies and industry trends for training and digital design.

  • Possesses a strong working knowledge of branding, accessibility and ADA guidelines for digital content including eLearning designs, media, mobile, and training materials.

  • Lead the design and development of complex, large scale, high-end digital design projects, and specialized tasks including leading multiple digital content developers and cross functional teams.

  • Performs as a subject matter expert (SME) resource for digital content developers to provide guidance in the mastery of learning objectives, design and development and project management. Including video, resource training materials, eLearning development and more.

  • Collaborates with leadership to identify resource capacity and to assign appropriate projects to the team ensuring development of digital content and training needs support and are aligned with key business initiatives.

  • Identify upskill opportunities for digital design to knowledge share through but not limited to lunch-n-learns, one-on-one trainings, recommended LinkedIn learnings, and third-party organizations.

  • Partner with business analysts to evaluate learning effectiveness through analysis of key performance indicators and Kirkpatrick level scoring and provide actionable tasks to leaders in response to data.

Highly Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), Vyond, and Canva

  • Digital Accessibility Standards (WCAG): Experience in ensuring digital content meets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 standards

  • AI in  Content Creation: Experience in employing AI for automating or enhancing the creation of materials, such as eLearning's, quizzes, assessments, and instructional content.

  • Strong background in UI/UX principles for digital learning solutions

  • Knowledge in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript for customizing and enhanacing digital learning experiences

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, related field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of experience designing online curriculums in adult learning settings. Strong multimedia development for learning preferred. Healthcare industry and project management experience preferred. Articulate Storyline/Adobe Captivate, SharePoint, Workday Learning Management and Q-Mindshare experience preferred. Basic coding knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Java preferred.

Travel: Less than 10%
