Job description

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Team Lead, the Sales Operations Specialist will be part of Questel’s Sales Operations Team, focusing on enhancing sales team effectiveness, ensuring data accuracy across systems and tools, and collaborating with leadership and key stakeholders to drive organizational transformation with measurable business impact.   

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Be first point of contact/triage for all incoming Sales Operations Requests
  • Synchronize data between Salesforce CRM and internal ERP Systems
  • Complete small Salesforce tasks such as data imports, duplicate identification, and user creation
  • Provide Support for all sales tools, including but not limited to: Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, IP Pilot, Synergy, and many more
  • Work with Sales Operations data analyst to identify incomplete data sources and improvements
  • Manage and identify warm leads stemming from the World Intellectual Property Organization’s PCT Alert database
  • Create records and set actionable tasks in Salesforce for inbound inquiries
  • Provide Support for Sales/Marketing/BDR projects, such as data research and data cleansing
  • Support the Sales Enablement Specialist with sales tool license allocation and process documentation
  • Manage daily, weekly or monthly projects on a recurring basis
  • Provide support for SalesForce data backfill projects
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations team to resolve internal requests
  • Work with Questel’s internal clients: Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other stakeholders
  • Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management 

Qualifications & Skills:

Education and Experience:  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or in a related field.  Or any combination of education, experience and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: 

  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to write, speak and present effectively and persuasively at all levels
  • Experience and knowledge in client-facing roles preferred
  • Experience with SalesForce or similar CRM preferred
  • Comfortable using new IT software, and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Intermediate level with Excel strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple high priority demands simultaneously
  • Strong desire to execute and identify new ways to improve projects
  • Enjoy developing new ideas and creative solutions
  • Possess a cooperative style to positively influence outcomes
  • Excellent organizational skills, adheres to deadlines, and is detail-oriented
  • Flexible and adaptable – able to achieve success in situations with high degrees of variation and complexity
  • Exceptional project and system management skills
  • Proven track record of process improvement and complex systems implementation
  • Fluency in English required, French or other language preferred

Supervision is provided by the Sales Operations Specialist Team Lead
