Sales Operations Business Partner

Location : United States. This role can be remote in most states but we are not currently accepting applications from residents of NY, CO, CA and WA.

 

As a Sales Operations Business Partner, you’ll work closely with our sales teams, including enterprise sellers, mid-market, and small business sales, as well as specialists and solution consultants. Your role will be to help them sell smarter, faster, and more efficiently, by providing continuous support and helping to streamline our sales processes. You’ll work alongside sales leadership to ensure they have the insights, tools, and processes they need to hit their goals.

You’ll be the key partner in managing sales forecasts, pipelines, and key performance indicators. Plus, you’ll identify opportunities for operational improvements, recommend process changes, and support territory and quota planning. You’ll also be hands-on in sales tools like Salesforce, providing reporting and analysis to help improve team performance.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Forecast & Pipeline Management: Support sales leaders in managing their sales forecasts and pipelines, ensuring the team stays on track to hit targets.
  • Process Improvements: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and other teams to streamline processes and adapt to changes as the business evolves.
  • Sales Data Analysis: Use data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to sales leadership to improve performance.
  • Sales Tools & Training: Ensure sales teams are using tools like Salesforce effectively, offering training and guidance as needed.
  • Compensation Support: Work closely with the Total Rewards team to ensure accurate commissions and provide feedback on compensation design.
  • Continuous Monitoring: Regularly track sales data for accuracy, share insights with teams, and work towards addressing performance gaps.
  • Ad-hoc Reporting: Develop custom reports in Salesforce to meet the specific needs of the business.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • A solid understanding of the sales process and methodologies in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience with managing sales forecasts, particularly in new business, upselling, or renewals.
  • Strong analytical skills – you can interpret data and recommend actions based on your findings.
  • A knack for working in a matrixed environment and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Expertise in Salesforce, especially with reporting and dashboards, as well as advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • A technical mindset, comfortable adapting to new tools and systems.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, Project Management, or Finance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree (required).
