About the Role:

We are seeking a Production Manager or Senior Production Manager to oversee custom direct mail projects, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and profitability. In this role, you will manage production estimates, coordinate with internal teams (Account Services, Creative), and collaborate with external vendors to deliver high-quality client accounts on time. Your leadership and strategic problem-solving will drive cost-effective production solutions and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

Production Oversight: Manage the entire production workflow from data and art release to the final mail date, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure seamless communication, scheduling, and quality control.
Cost Management: Lead project bidding, monitor client budgets, and implement cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
Process Improvement: Proactively identify and prevent potential production errors and continuously seek opportunities for process enhancements.
Client Communication: Set realistic timelines, provide status updates, and communicate potential delays in a professional and timely manner.
Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
5+ years of direct mail agency experience preferred.
Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office products.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of postal regulations for bulk mail and nonprofit criteria.

LOCATION: Remote, U.S. (Some travel may be required).

WORKING HOURS: Our business operation hours are 8:00 – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Preference is for the employee to work in the U.S. Central Time Zone.

Pay Range expected for the position: $50,000 - $75,000 annually.

The position level and compensation for this role will be determined based on the market location, experience, job skills, and qualifications of the candidate.
