Three Peaks International is a Sydney based staffing solutions partner which provides local and virtual staffing solutions to Australian businesses through outsourcing, recruitment, and migration.

We are seeking a competent and analytical Intermediate AU Accountant for one of established firms in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage client accounts by ensuring accurate and timely coding and processing of financial transactions.
- Perform monthly and year-end closings, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Prepare and lodge BAS (Business Activity Statements) and IAS (Instalment Activity Statements) in compliance with ATO regulations.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate determination of profit and loss.
- Stay updated with Australian tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide advisory support to clients.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with Australian Tax.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with XERO, Quickbooks, and MYOB.
- Deep knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations.
- Experience in balance sheet reconciliations and profit and loss determination.
- Proven ability to code client accounts weekly, including payroll and superannuation processing.
- Ability to prepare and lodge BAS and IAS independently.
- Capability to prepare financials for review by senior accountants.
