Responsibilities:

· Coding of transactions in client Xero files

· Preparing business GST/BAS/IAS

· Preparing financial statements and tax returns

· Preparing work papers for simple audit engagements before submitting for review

· Preparation of Xero and other management reports

· Assistance with in-house/ value add projects when required

· Managing of personal workflow

· Pro-actively assist the Managers/Directors with various other ad hoc duties.

Qualifications:

· Tertiary qualification in accounting essential

· At least 2 or more years of similar experience in NZ/AU Chartered Accounting firm.

· Knowledge and understanding of accounting and taxation concepts essential

· Experience with Xero

· Proficient in Excel and Microsoft 365

· Strong written and verbal English skills

· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with other team members and clients

· Excellent attention to detail

· Strong organisational and time management skills

· Willingness to assist and support others as required and work with team members
