About the Senior Inside Alliance Partner Manager 

The Inside Alliance Partner Manager is responsible for identifying and developing key account alliances and relationship programs designed to produce sales opportunities. This role involves recruiting, developing, and managing strategic partner alliances/partnerships and opportunity pipelines to ensure account retention, growth, and customer satisfaction. The Alliance Partner Manager will work towards mutual goals, strategies, and objectives to build awareness and support of the overall strategic benefits of the alliance. 

Location: Utah Remote

What Will You Do? 

  • Stay informed on IT ecosystem trends including maintaining a deep understanding of current trends and developments within the IT ecosystem. 

  • Works collaboratively with partner and internal stakeholders on assigned Alliance Partner initiatives and projects.  

  • Develop and implement creative go-to-market (GTM) strategies that leverage the "better together" story to drive joint value propositions for Client and alliances relationships  

  • Research, design, and deliver value-based business solutions to drive expanded Alliance relationships between Client and partners.  

  • Create and manage an opportunity pipeline in Salesforce as part of a greater team including reporting on pipeline and revenue.     

  • Perform metric-driven analysis of marketing and relationship effectiveness to ensure efforts are driving the desired business results. 

  • Work closely with the Client sales, marketing, and product teams to align on initiatives and achieve long-term customer success. 

  • Manage cross-functional projects (e.g., product, client, or market-specific). 

  • Manage business and technical escalations and communicate with stakeholders to maintain momentum and ensure success. 

  • Performs assigned duties associated with go-to-market execution and Client and/or Partner cooperate initiatives. 

  • Performs detailed data collection, documentation, and report generation to show ROI on the business efforts and to ensure we are maximizing all aspects of the motion. 

  • Establish regular interlocks across various internal and partner resources on alliance strategy, milestones, and projected results. 

 

What Will You Need to Succeed? 
 

  • Product & Technical Knowledge: Able to leverage understanding of Client technology and ecosystem to help drive customer/partner success. Possess broad knowledge of telecommunications technologies, practices, and trends. Able to generate excitement with clients/partners about Client technologies and capabilities. 

  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills and high levels of tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality. Tailors' communication approach to specific situations and audiences. Proactively identifies and recommends steps to address potential business, system, and process issues. Able to form relationships and communicate effectively with executive-level decision makers. 

  • Judgment & Problem Solving: Applies analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex sales, marketing, relationship, and associated process-related situations. Integrates trends, data, and information into forecasts, plans, models, and recommendations. Creates graphs, spreadsheets, charts, and reports that contain relevant process and business performance data that can be clearly understood by technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Business Perspective: Possesses clear understanding of Client’s business strategy, competitive strengths, and opportunities. Understands industry trends and emerging challenges. Understands how effective and collaborative partner relationships contribute to organizational and company success. 

  • At least 3+ years of experience within Alliance or Channel Sales  

  • Strong time and project management organizational skills 

  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com preferred  

  • Demonstrated ability to build customer and sales-based relationships 

  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills 

  • Experience with setting and exceeding sales goals 

  • Able to multi-task, manage time effectively and adapt to change 

  • Able to analyze and interpret data to develop and implement strategic plans is preferred 

  • Previous experience with account management or prior experience in sales or technology preferred
