Key Responsibilities

Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
Process audio recordings with a strong adherence to established style guides, ensuring the production of verbatim transcripts.
Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and uphold high standards in grammar and legal terminology.

Required Skills

Proven experience in legal transcription, court reporting, or scoping.
Exceptional listening abilities and literacy skills, including spelling and grammar proficiency.
Competence in meeting deadlines and following specific client style guides.
Strong remote collaboration skills and ability to work independently.
Proficient typing skills with an emphasis on both speed and accuracy.
Capacity to process sensitive audio/text content (note: content may be offensive).
Familiarity with legal terminology is essential.
Candidates must successfully pass a background check.
Court reporting students are encouraged to apply.
