Responsibilities: Essential Responsibilities: - Review of skilled nursing Medicare cost reports. - Gain an understanding of the skilled nursing Medicaid reimbursement systems for the state’s you are assigned. - Assist clients with cost report audits including reviewing of cost report adjustments and rate worksheets in the state’s you are assigned. - Communicate effectively with internal and external clients. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred not required. - 5+ years experience with cost reports and healthcare reimbursement. - Proven Excel skills preferred. - Experience in client relationship development with the ability to maintain relationships by providing optimum client service. - Ability to work within budgeting and deadline constraints. - Enjoys working in a team setting. - Enjoys problem solving. Skills & Abilities: - Ability to scope, plan, and budget for projects, while adeptly prioritizing and organizing work under pressure to meet budget and time deadlines. - Skilled in managing client expectations, escalating effectively, and ensuring client satisfaction. - Ability to drive industry growth through internal networks and identify sales and cross-selling opportunities through various marketing channels, leveraging strong knowledge of firm's consulting offerings. - Works to build, maintain, and utilize individual relationships or networks with co-workers, clients, and other people who are, or might be, helpful in achieving work-related goals.
