Position Overview:

Are you innovative and passionate about digital marketing trends and executing successful campaigns? Convatec is looking to hire a Digital Marketing Specialist/Manager to support the US ostomy marketing team in effectively promoting core messages across all digital channels. 

The goal of the Digital Marketing Specialist is to establish, execute and maintain a digital strategy that targets key customers, including consumers and healthcare professionals aligned with overall business objectives. This role is critical in driving and optimizing online traffic, lead generation and conversion opportunities in real time while conveying a unified brand image. 

We are looking for a results-driven individual with a proven track record of driving high performance and innovation, who challenges their personal best and that of the broader team to drive business impact and excellence and can help drive distinctive leadership presence in the marketplace. 

Key Responsibilities:

Execute

  • Create and implement online strategies to drive web traffic, brand awareness, acquisition, and conversion across key digital channels: website(s), email/database marketing, SEO and SEM activities, social media, mobile applications
  • Maximize UI/UX, content and effectiveness throughout our digital footprint to produce superior user experiences that achieve measurable gains in key metrics
  • Utilize our marketing nurture platform to drive meaningful connections and a premium user experience: Manage online segmentation, customer journeys and the execution of digital content
  • Identify conversion tools and online opportunities to generate leads, maximize brand presence and maintain awareness
  • Create and maintain a digital calendar of activity and content to support product launches and campaigns, lead generation and event marketing

Analyze

  • Lead digital analytics to set benchmarks, track success and refine strategy for all digital activity
  • Identify, analyze, and measure trends and content to assess how well it’s performing
  • Create recommendations to optimize user experience, lead generation, and ROI

Collaborate

  • This individual will be instrumental in collaborating with key business stakeholders – including content and product managers, Consumer Excellence partners and global franchises – to develop and manage initiatives across all consumer and healthcare professional digital touchpoints and ensures alignment of goals and performance.
  • Responsible for communicating ongoing lead generation activities and details with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure marketing activities connected with our CRM tool are set up to drive sales and marketing funnel effectiveness.
  • Partner with vendor agencies and Global teams to drive maximum results through SEO/SEM and provide recommendations on online media investments.


 

Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience in a digital sales/marketing environment
  • Experience leading digital projects with multiple stakeholders from concept to implementation
  • Strong understanding of the digital ecosystem and digital products
  • Strategic thinker with passion for the customer and the ability to think creatively and analytically
  • Highly motivated, energetic individual with a positive disposition
  • Persuasive communicator that understands how to effectively balance various points of view, influence others, and find common ground that drives meaningful results
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load
  • Strong technical background to effectively communicate between IT and non-technology roles.
  • Experience using various tools across website content management systems (knowledge of Optimizely a plus); eMarketing (MSD Customer Journey Insights knowledge a plus) and MS Dynamics CRM systems.
  • Basic content creation, editing and resizing skills utilizing Canva; Adobe suite tools a plus
  • Understanding of Google Analytics (Google Tag Manager and Google Ads a plus)
  • MS Office suite competency required
