Job description

Join our team as an Accountant specializing in Acumatica for the construction industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support our accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain financial records using Acumatica, ensuring alignment with construction industry standards.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights to stakeholders.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payments.
  • Conduct monthly and annual closings, reconciling accounts for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.
  • Assist in audits and preparation of audit schedules as required.
  • Continuously improve accounting processes and systems for enhanced efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
  • Highly skilled  using Acumatica ERP software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and construction industry practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification as a CPA or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Experience with job costing and construction project management.
  • Familiarity with additional ERP systems and software solutions used in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of process improvement and efficiency optimization in accounting operations.
