Fastlane Recruit is currently hiring an Operations Coordinator on behalf of a client that is an emerging player in the online tutoring and university admissions support marketplace. This client focuses on providing services to a growing global community of international school students, estimated at six million and counting. The company serves students either directly or in partnership with their school counselors, aiming to enhance their educational and admissions experiences.
In this role, you will report directly to the Co-Founder and COO and take charge of completing administrative tasks that are essential to the day-to-day global operations of the company. Your main responsibility will be to ensure a smooth workflow across all functions and maintain a great experience for both students and mentors.
You will work cross-functionally with various departments, including events, marketing, finance, and business development, while collaborating closely with the co-founders and mentors. This position offers significant growth opportunities within the organization, allowing you to specialize in specific areas or take on leadership responsibilities as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities:
Host and manage webinars and panels for audiences on Zoom.
Oversee end-to-end email campaigns using Canva, Zoom, Eventbrite, and Mailchimp.
Manage the Mentor Searcher process to assist event production teams.
Produce and grade monthly SAT diagnostic tests, including email campaigns and Zoom meetings.
Host live 2-hour SAT tests twice a month and perform post-production data analysis and reporting.
Collaborate with the marketing team for social media content posting and analyze social media data.
Manage student and mentor onboarding, coordinate activities, and work with finance for mentor payouts.
Requirements:
Relevant business administration or assistant experience.
Knowledge of work management and marketing tools such as Zoom, Mailchimp, Eventbrite, Monday.com, and Slack is ideal.
Attention to Detail: You consistently ensure that all tasks, no matter how small, are completed with precision. You create checklists and protocols to guarantee accuracy, checking both your and others' work for errors.
Time Management: You efficiently manage time and resources, prioritize tasks effectively, and make preparations to ensure work is completed on schedule. You focus on essential tasks, avoiding distractions.
Collaborative & Can-Do Attitude: You actively contribute to team goals, offering process improvements and removing obstacles to help the team succeed. You listen and participate in team discussions.
Communication Skills: You communicate proactively, ensuring the team is informed. You convey ideas and information clearly across various channels, producing concise and effective written correspondence.
