Business Development Manager - Portugal

Business Development Manager (BDM)

The BDM will combine the responsibility for acquired new customers from different sectors (mainly Healthcare, Hospitality and Food Service) and developing TASKI sales opportunities for key accounts in Portugal. This exciting role requires a creative individual who can work within all sales team, including distributors, and with key sector stakeholders.

This position is also responsible for demonstrating, promoting, and selling all Diversey chemical range and TASKI floor machines and all consumables/services associated with floor care machines.

It requires an individual who can travel and work independently with minimal supervision. This position is remote, has subordinate responsibilities and reports to the Head of Business Development.

Objective Of The Function

  • Acquisition of strategically selected mew customers
  • Support the Head of BDM in meeting sales targets
  • Business development through targeted development and implementation of measures in the sector business
  • In coordination with the Head of BDM, building a close relationship and maintaining contact with the selected strategic stakeholders/customers/suppliers, including joint business planning with key accounts.
  • Coordination of acquisition activities with sectors, sales managers and distributors

Main Tasks

  • Acquisition of new customers
  • Proactive support of leads: from the initial contact to the offer
  • Building a comprehensive, close customer relationship and maintaining contact with decision-makers and staff
  • Creation of an annual business plan for defined key customers / segments / dealers
  • Developing TASKI business across the country
  • Achievement of sales with defined key customers (new customers)
  • Determination of needs and problem solving to implement the overall offering (cross-selling) while making the greatest possible use of the range
  • Implementation and handover of successfully acquired new customers to the associated sales teams
  • Presentation and demonstration of new products and systems
  • Funnel creation and maintenance in coordination with the sectors
  • Implementation of the corporate philosophy in sales and customer service
  • Attending specialist conferences/events
  • Supporting colleagues with new customer acquisition and customer problems

What You Bring

  • Basic Commercial Training and sales experience (at least 3 years)
  • High social skills as well as necessary persistence, communicative personality
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Stress resistance and reliability in meeting deadlines
  • Very good knowledge of Portuguese and English, both spoken and written
  • Very good knowledge of MOffice skills and ideally CRM skills
  • Driver license (travel availability 60-80%)
  • Place of residence Portugal

It Will Be a Plus, If The Candidate Has

  • Market (Healthcare, Hospitality, BSC, Food Service) and cleaning solutions industry knowledge
  • Knowledge of scrubber driers market
  • Experience in work with distributors

Business Development Manager (BDM)

O BDM terá a responsabilidade pela aquisição de novos clientes de diferentes sectores (principalmente da área da Saúde, Hotelaria e Restauração) e pelo desenvolvimento de oportunidades de vendas TASKI para contas-chave em Portugal. Esta função requer uma pessoa criativa que possa trabalhar com todas as equipas de vendas, incluindo distribuidores, e com as principais partes interessadas do setor.

Também será responsável por demonstrar, promover e vender toda a gama de produtos químicos da Diversey, máquinas de tratamento de pavimentos TASKI e todos os consumíveis/serviços associados às mesmas.

Pretende-se alguém que possa viajar e trabalhar de forma independente com supervisão mínima. Esta posição é remota e reporta ao Responsável pelo Desenvolvimento de Negócio (Responsável BDM) em Portugal.

Objetivo Da Função

  • Aquisição de novos clientes estrategicamente selecionados
  • Apoiar o Responsável BDM no cumprimento dos objetivos de vendas
  • Desenvolvimento de negócios através do desenvolvimento direcionado e implementação de medidas
  • Em coordenação com o Responsável BDM, construir uma relação de proximidade e manter o contacto com parceiros/clientes/fornecedores estratégicos, incluindo o planeamento conjunto do negócio com as contas-chave.
  • Coordenação das atividades de aquisição de novos clientes com os setores, responsáveis de vendas e distribuidores

Principais Tarefas

  • Aquisição de novos clientes
  • Suporte proativo de pistas: desde o contacto inicial até à oferta
  • Construir um relacionamento abrangente e próximo com o cliente e manter o contacto com decisores e colaboradores
  • Criação de um plano de negócios anual para clientes/sectores/distribuidores
  • Desenvolvimento de negócios TASKI em todo o país
  • Realização de vendas em clientes definidos (novos clientes)
  • Determinação das necessidades e resolução de problemas para implementar a oferta global (cross-selling) e ao mesmo tempo tirar o máximo partido da gama
  • Implementação e transferência de novos clientes adquiridos para as equipas de vendas
  • Apresentação e demonstração de novos produtos e sistemas
  • Criação e manutenção do funil de vendas em coordenação com os setores
  • Implementação da filosofia corporativa na venda e no serviço ao cliente
  • Participação em conferências/eventos especializados
  • Apoiar os colegas na angariação de novos clientes e na resolução de problemas

O Que Deverá Ter

  • Formação comercial básica e experiência em vendas (pelo menos 3 anos)
  • Elevadas competências sociais, bem como a persistência necessária e personalidade comunicativa
  • Excelentes competências organizacionais e de gestão do tempo
  • Excelente capacidade de apresentação
  • Resistência ao stress e fiabilidade no cumprimento de prazos
  • Muito bons conhecimentos de português e inglês, falado e escrito
  • Muito bom conhecimento de MOffice e, idealmente de CRM
  • Carta de condução (disponibilidade para viajar entre 60 e 80%)
  • Residência em Portugal
