Job description

Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Recruiter supports the Talent Acquisition Department with the key responsibilities included herein and other duties as assigned.

This position can be worked remotely from the East Coast.

Pursuant to New York, Rhode Island, Washington, DC, and Jersey City, New Jersey regulation, the pay range is $33.60 to $45.28 hourly and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate full life cycle recruitment for lateral attorneys and staff in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent and build a diverse and inclusive candidate pool.
  • Publicize job openings to reach a broad and diverse applicant pool.
  • Track and review applications in a timely manner and identify qualified candidates for interview.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external clients and partners to maintain ongoing candidate pipelines.
  • Collaborate closely with office and practice group leaders to keep abreast of current recruiting needs and partner with external recruiters and organizations on strategic sourcing needs.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and market trends to inform strategic decisions and report on recruitment progress.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by welcoming candidates, overseeing interviews and providing prompt feedback to candidates and search firms.
  • Responsible for understanding and strict adherence to all confidentiality principles.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with market trends sufficient to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Understanding of and familiarity with law firm attorney recruiting sufficient to screen resumes following Firm criteria.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of attorneys and management in all levels of sensitive and confidential information.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite. Familiarity with viGlobal and UltiPro platforms preferred.
  • Understanding of processes and priorities sufficient to multi-task through multiple processes.
  • Ability to learn new procedures and advanced technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with social media and web-based platforms is a plus.

Education And Certifications

Required: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience Required

  • Minimum of five plus years of professional services recruiting experience.
  • Previous law firm experience preferred
