Responsibilities:
• Supervise, coach, mentor and develop team responsible for the project management of inbound and outbound servicing transfers, ensuring procedures are followed, standards are met, and operational issues are addressed effectively and efficiently
• Complete and deliver performance reviews
• Manage transfer pipeline and assign work (transfers) to team members
• Measure and report on employee performance and work output
• Oversee transfers ensuring team is delivering work product timely, effectively, and efficiently
• Develop and maintain reporting on transfer status and issues for management
• Ensure that department meets/exceeds established metrics and SLA standards
• Participate / lead meetings with clients, transferors and internal parties as needed
• Act as initial point of escalation for team members
• Maintain and update policies and procedures as necessary
• Communicate promptly to other Servicing Departments on matters related to inbound servicing transfer transfers
• Research and promptly close process gaps once identified
• Train or coordinate training of existing and new staff as needed
• Evaluate the loan transfer processes to ensure adequate timelines are established/met and transfers are successfully completed
• Maintain and improve knowledge of LoanCare mortgage products, line of business requirements and related field content/definitions in the servicing platform to facilitate servicing transfers effectively
• Collaborate with internal lines of business for process improvement opportunities and implement changes as needed
• Supervise coordination of data mapping session(s), including but not limited to agenda and tracking open items through completion
• Supervise pre and post inbound transfer data transfer in coordination with internal and external parties
• Establish and maintain transaction management procedures outlining process, including timelines, task lists, project plans, department roles, and responsibilities
• In collaboration with internal resources, maintain Servicing Transfer Instructions and update regularly as directed by management
• Develop process for and maintain post transfer Lessons Learned; evaluating the results of the transfer project and identify all positive aspects and opportunities; working with management to make effective changes
• Manage / lead department projects
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 5+ years of experience in mortgage servicing and/or loan transfer or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• 2+ project management experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Access, and Word) required
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent client relations and presentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle client escalations in a professional manner
• Excellent organizational skills and detailed oriented
• Ability to coach/train and mentor department staff successfully
• Ability to communicate professionally/effectively in writing, in person, and virtually with all levels within the organization and external clients/third parties
• Ability to work collaboratively with peers, company managers, and customers to attain common goals
