Included Health is looking for a remote physician who enjoys management of all health conditions and who is passionate about raising the standard of healthcare for everyone. The Physician will care for patients of all ages, maintaining accurate and current patient records, and working collaboratively with our provider and support teams.
This is a Modified Full Time position.
Responsibilities:Perform age-appropriate history and virtual examinations, evaluate, diagnose, recommend treatment plan and document findingsDeliver high-quality patient care while maintaining safetyDocument medical information of patients and review patient history at each visitRequest consultation or referral with other health care providersCounsel and educate patientsOrder and interpret diagnostic testsEvaluate pediatric and adult patients for both acute, chronic and mental health conditionsMaintain knowledge of current medical research and trendsProvide administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory test resultsSchedule flexibility to include evenings and weekendsRequired Qualifications:Completion of a 3-year Family Medicine residency or equivalent program3+ years post residency experience in Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient settingActive ABMS or AOA Board Certification (in Family Medicine or IM)Completion of U.S. Medical Licensing ExaminationActive and unrestricted Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC)Active medical license in the state of primary residenceExperience/Comfortable with providing care for all ages, newborn to adult populationsMust maintain Medicare active statusFunction within an integrated medical practiceOutstanding clinical expertise, Comfort with technologyDemonstrate flexibilityNot under current exclusion or sanction by any state or federal health care program, including Medicare or Medicaid, and is not identified as an "excluded person" by the Office of Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services or the General Service Administration (GSA), or reprimanded or sanctioned by MedicareMust maintain Medicare active statusPhysical/Cognitive Requirements:Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.Remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.Work with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.Responsibilities in this job description are neither exclusive nor exhaustive and will be amended in the light of changing circumstances or needs. Included Health also offers additional productivity incentives for employees that exceed the visit target. Details of the incentive structure will be discussed during the interview process.
