Impact
As a remote Senior Marketing Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in driving strategic initiatives and managing high-impact projects across the organization. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Marketing Chief of Staff, this role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with Shipt’s strategic objectives.

While no two days are the same, you oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, facilitating clear communication across teams and stakeholders. As needed, manage external vendor relationships and partner with legal and compliance teams. Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, operations, and analytics, to ensure cohesive project execution and communication synergies. Conduct regular status meetings to monitor project progress, address challenges, and ensure accountability among team members. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project management efficiency. Use data-driven insights to inform project decisions and optimize outcomes, providing regular performance reports to key stakeholders. Partner with analytics teams to assess the performance of marketing initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement. Translate data insights into actionable ideas for ongoing or future campaigns.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • You have 7 years in in a marketing role with exposure to multiple functions (digital, creative, campaign management, etc.)
  • You are a capable storyteller with executive presence.
  • You have strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence key stakeholders.
  • You are a proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and is comfortable owning projects.
  • You have experience with marketing tools like CRM systems, automation platforms, or content management systems.
  • You have a solid understanding of digital marketing channels (email, social, paid media, etc.).
  • You enjoy managing multiple projects at once, while staying organized and maintaining attention to detail.
  • You have expertise writing strategic briefs and working closely with cross functional teams to ensure work is delivering against the brief.

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader.  Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Pay Range:

Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City: 

$86,357-$172,715

All other locations:

$72,035-$143,964

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
