So, what will the Program Manager at Terrestris do?
The Program Manager (PM), operating under the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), is responsible for overseeing training analysis and design. You will supervise training design and development for the VBA including:
Providing competency-based training program life cycle maintenance.
Job and task analysis.
Facilitating the development of programs of instruction.
Providing quality, consistency and proficiency studies development and reporting.
What does a typical day look like for the Program Manager?
You will oversee:
The design, development, and creation of new training materials as well as sustainment, updating, and reconfiguration of training materials and products across the VBA organization.
Personnel in performance activities including human performance improvement, needs assessment, test design, formative and summative evaluation, and usability testing.
Course validation, test reliability and validity, diagnostic testing, job and task analysis, front end analysis, training situation analysis, competency alignment, proficiency assessments, performance support systems and updates and maintenance as required.
Professional Development to improve and increase the capabilities of staff through access to education and training opportunities in the workplace.
Development of organizational requirements for employee competencies and proficiencies, training and performance support, standards-based assessments, training plans, remediation, assessment, and evaluation.

A Master’s degree in Program/Project Management or a related field of study and a minimum of six (6) years of related management experience OR a Bachelor’s degree in Program/Project Management or a related field of study and a minimum of eight (8) years of related management experience.
Demonstrated expertise in leading teams and managing projects of national scope, including VA initiatives and in the Federal Government arena.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification OR equivalent industry recognized PM certification.
