Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager to provide administrative and project management support for consulting projects. The successful candidate will work behind the scenes, assisting the lead project manager with task coordination, scheduling, and documentation. This role ensures that all project operations run smoothly, while the lead project manager will engage with stakeholders and have direct oversight of project deliverables.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the lead project manager in tracking timelines, deliverables, and milestones for TPL projects.
  • Assist with maintaining and organizing project documentation, ensuring all files are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Coordinate schedules for meetings, calls, and project check-ins.
  • Prepare draft reports, presentations, and status updates for review by the lead project manager.
  • Manage virtual meeting logistics, including agenda preparation and follow-up on action items.
  • Monitor task progress using project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Teams, Jira, Slack) and provide updates to the lead project manager.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as creating project schedules, checklists, and summaries.
  • Provide ongoing operational support to ensure projects align with established timelines and budgets.
  • Assist with resource planning, task assignment, and other behind-the-scenes project activities.

Requirements
  • PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably in a support or virtual role.
  • An Ideal candidate should have working experience in the Private Sector.
  • Experience working as a Project Manager from the following industries would be highly considered; Tech, IT, Consulting, Construction, Healthcare, and Education.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to track and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following the direction of the lead project manager.
Working Hours: 1 PM - 9 PM Nigerian Time

Benefits
Remuneration: NGN 350,000 - NGN 500,000 (Monthly Net)
