Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team, focusing on the Southeast Region, specifically the greater Charlotte, NC area. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to securing new clientele and managing existing client relationships in a dynamic and impactful industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster and enhance relationships with current customers while identifying and pursuing potential clients.
  • Conduct sales calls and present proposals to illustrate the unique value of our services.
  • Provide insightful sales forecasts and facilitate annual business review meetings.
  • Articulate our service offerings effectively and differentiate our solutions from competitors.
  • Lead and participate in Water Management Team meetings, ensuring adherence to contract requirements and overseeing project deliverables.
  • Collect, analyze, and present pertinent data to inform strategic decisions and client engagements.

Required Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of building water systems, including boiler and cooling tower systems.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to build and maintain productive cross-functional relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Gmail, Hubspot, and Google applications, facilitating efficient workflow.
  • Capability to mentor and inspire team members and client personnel.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, or microbiology is essential.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in customer relations or sales, ideally in water management or related engineering fields.
  • Successful completion of a 90-day comprehensive training program, combining fieldwork and online self-study.
