Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Full-Time Graphic Designer to support our client.

The client has a proven track record for street and suburb records across Queensland. About The Role

The Graphic Designer will oversee the design and refinement of marketing brochures, ensuring adherence to branding guidelines and accuracy of content. This role involves managing design projects, coordinating with team members, and ensuring that final outputs meet quality standards and client expectations.

  • Compensation: 900AUD/month (paid twice a month)
  • Schedule: Mondays to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30pm AEST (6:30am to 3:30pm Manila Time including a 1hr unpaid lunch break (40hrs/week)
  • Availability: Start ASAP

Responsibilities

Brochure Design Review and Refinement:

  • Ensure correct usage of fonts (Passion for headings and Nova for body text) and proper alignment of elements.
  • Verify accuracy of information against the REA property listing.
  • Make specific design adjustments, such as reducing spacing and aligning text and images.

Design Adjustments and Alignment:

  • Use design tools to adjust text and image alignment.
  • Implement feedback to improve design aesthetics and functionality.
  • Check all images and text against the property listing for accuracy.

Design Guidelines and Branding:

  • Follow branding guidelines and maintain consistency across design templates.
  • Ensure all design elements adhere to the specified branding and style guidelines.

Project Management with Basecamp:

  • Use Basecamp for managing design projects, including task assignments and tracking progress.
  • Ensure tasks are assigned, tracked, and completed within designated timelines.
  • Organize design files into folders by task for efficient project management.

QR Code and Logo Integration:

  • Generate and insert QR codes linking to property listings.
  • Find and integrate the REA logo into the brochure design.

Final Adjustments and Exporting:

  • Make final design adjustments, including spacing and alignment.
  • Check and set correct bleed settings for PDF export.
  • Export the final PDF ensuring all elements are within the bleed area and no overset text is present.

Ad-hoc Tasks:

  • Verify and cross-check images and details against the property listing on the REA website.
  • Generate and insert a QR code linking to the property listing.
  • Organize design files into task-specific folders.



Compliance with client-specific organisational guidelines is a must.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree relevant to the role
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Virtual Assistant in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in marketing materials.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe InDesign and familiarity with Basecamp for project management.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to branding guidelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to adhere to strict professional codes of conduct and ways of working.
  • Ability to adapt to specific organizational cultural norms

The candidate must be proficient in the following tools:

  • Adobe Indesign, Basecamp
