Summary of Job Duties:
The Project for Adolescent and Child Evaluations (PACE) program is searching for a well-organized Program Manager who works with the Clinic Director in supervising support personnel including training and annual evaluations. The Program Manager performs HR processes such as Workday recruiting and termination processes and serves as a backup to initiating credentialing requirements and professional licenses as a part of onboarding completed by the Project Specialist. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration or related field plus four (4) years of administrative or program management experience or

  • High School diploma/GED plus eight (8) years of administrative or program management experience required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • One (1) year in a healthcare setting.

  • Knowledge of budgeting.

  • Experience with Workday processes.

  • Previous experience navigating an electronic health record.


Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees office workflow/processes including ordering of equipment, license renewals, office supplies, and processing travel including registration for continuing education for clinical staff. 

  • Oversees intake, scheduling, final report, and recommendation processes including obtaining patient records. 

  • Works with Clinic Director(s) and Project Specialist on the development and implementation of new work processes. 

  • Manages section assets (i.e., property inventory, property transfer/surplus). Monitors and reports program compliance standards and results. 

  • Communicates daily status of employee issues/projects/duties to Clinic Directors to ensure everyone has the same understanding or knowledge to run an efficient program.  

  • Works with the Clinic Director on all section budgets in regard to program needs and as requested by the UAMS finance department.

  • Assists Clinic Director(s), Medical Director(s), and Project Specialist as needed in regard to their administrative activities. 

  • Provides administrative support and coordination services for training activities as requested.  Participates in administrative and other committees as directed.

  • Responsible for training and coordinating administrative staff within the section. 

  • Assists with preparation and maintenance of all section budgets as directed in regard to day-to-day program needs as requested by the program finance/Clinical Director.

  • Works in conjunction with Clinic Directors and Peds HR Department concerning recruiting of new hires and transfers as well as processing terminations. 

  • Completes paperwork requirements to set up new employees. 

  • Processes time sheets/leave forms for staff as needed. 

  • Maintains good communication with all employees identifying problem issues as well as potential solutions, and makes appropriate recommendations to Clinic Director(s). 

  • May perform other duties as assigned.
