We are looking for a System administrator (Application support engineer).

Your main tasks will be:

  • Diagnose and resolve incidents (2nd line support), performance issues, and other technical challenges;
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, component interactions, database schemas, and application configurations;
  • Develop and monitor application performance and usage metrics to ensure optimal operation;
  • Maintain up-to-date information about system components and dependencies in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB);
  • Assist in testing secure application updates and new releases to ensure functionality and compatibility;
  • Analyze existing software applications, databases, and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement;
  • Propose and actively participate in modernization, upgrades, or migrations to enhance system performance;
  • Prepare statistical reports from JIRA, controlling the adherence to SLA targets;
  • Be responsible for monitoring system triggers and handling noisy alerts effectively.

We expect from you:

  • Experience with system logs and in-depth analysis (we use ELK stack);
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries for data extraction and analysis;
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, GitLab);
  • Solid understanding of APIs and integration methods;
  • Experience with performance monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana;
  • Familiarity with main DevOps practices and tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Docker);
  • Experience in creating operational documentation, including architecture diagrams and service interaction documentation;
  • Basic understanding of programming languages and the ability to read C# code;
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level IT systems, databases, networks, and cloud technologies;
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and suggest solutions for architectural challenges.
