Description

JOB SUMMARY

Ensures the entire product organization is aligned on the product vision, strategy and goals, and is able to effectively enhance and expand upon the existing suite of itel products, ultimately fuel revenue growth and enterprise value for the business. This role creates the product roadmap and contributions to the vision and development of the product. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Defines the product roadmap to drive revenue growth and is aligned with annual strategy and long-term vision.
  • Identifies revenue-generating opportunities by engaging with current and potential customers as well as internal key stakeholders
  • Executes the company strategy through roadmap and thought leadership
  • Crafts messages with the audience in mind and effectively shares those messages with both internal and market-facing
  • Represents stakeholders by maintaining and prioritizing platform backlog to maintain best-in-industry illustration and quoting experiences
  • Keeps the end user's experience at the center of the team’s decision making
  • Drives thought leadership around Product Methodologies and the broader market.
  • Inculcates an innovation culture that manifests itself in the platform roadmap
  • Leads the product team to develop and groom themes, epics, and features to deliver compelling capabilities on-time, -budget, and -scope
  • Analyzes existing products’ function and determine new features and requirements to enhance customers’ user experience and ensure maximum adoption
  • Drives product management framework(s) into the culture to guide what and how work is performed
  • Leads practices delivering measured results (velocity, quality, value, etc.) and improvements
  • Pragmatizes market sizing, positioning, and testing to drive data-based product decisions
  • Leverages enterprise-wide relationships to drive outcomes with broad participation and buy-in
  • Works with team to balance portfolio investments to support company strategy
  • Initiates platform and feature enablement and adoption programs
  • Delivers high-quality work products that drive business outcomes
  • Leads quarterly planning and aligning product teams with engineering counterparts and others within the organization to understand work and define success.
  • Regularly communicates the current velocity of product engineering teams including outcomes, roadblocks, needs for success and other relevant metrics.

 

 

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related field
  • At least five (5) years of experience in product management or leading product development
  • Track record of consistently delivering quality projects with broad scope on time
  • Ability to work with complex concepts and distilling them down so that anyone can understand them
  • Curious, optimistic and a skilled problem-solver.  Embracing the unknown and able to adapt to shifts in priorities.
  • Must have excellent management, judgment, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting set deadlines
  • Demonstrated excellence in the methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
  • Well-established record of coaching and developing individuals with varying levels of real-world product management experience
  • Ability to quickly learn new markets and business domains
  • Thorough understanding of business financials and how product teams drive enterprise value by impacting revenue/EBITDA
  • Strong project management and resiliency skills
  • Proven experience managing and launching Salesforce implementations ranging from Sales/Service Cloud to designing custom workflows based on business needs

  • Knowledge of the property-insurance marketplace, who the ecosystem players are and how itel products solve problems for our insurance carrier customers.

WORKING CONDITIONS/EQUIPMENT USE

  • Work is performed indoors in a typical office environment - not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
  • Must be able to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds
  • Frequent use of office machines to include telephone, computer, and printer
