Your Role

The Manager of MP&A Applications is responsible for leading the MP&A functional team, including associates spanning across sales and buy planning, demand forecasting, inventory allocation, replenishment ordering, and inventory attribution and balancing.

This manager will be accountable for multiple projects, providing leadership and support to the global team, working closely with cross-functional partners to influence and contribute to the best end-product.

The manager will partner closely with partners and stakeholders on all aspects related to MP&A technology including steady state support, future state road mapping, development of new capabilities and functionality to meet business needs and requirements. This manager should have an application background who can lead the team in identifying solutions that align to strategic objectives.

The manager is accountable for leading the individual associates on the team, which includes providing feedback and conducting the enterprise standard associate review processes, supporting individual career development and growth opportunities. This role may manage consultants and/or vendors while heavily engaging with cross-functional partners and stakeholders.

Your Impact

  • Collaborates with global partners to drive to exceptional solutions for MP&A team.
  • Partners with Director and Technical Manager to liaison with global MP&A and Product Master Data leadership to prioritize, plan, and schedule enhancements.
  • Allocates project development work and steady state support across the team; supports prioritization of work and balancing competing priorities.
  • Manages delivery of projects with respect to planning, design and implementation processes at a business unit within accepted methodology.
  • Establishes project timelines with clear requirements, delivering to approved scope, on budget and on time.
  • Manages functional associates who provide steady state support for existing applications as well as well as developing new solutions.
  • Develops tactical and strategic plans for application changes, resource allocations aligned to skillsets needed, application development and maintenance
  • Guides approach for continuous improvement of process, custom development applications and vendor solutions, including planning, execution, and adherence to sound application development methodology.
  • Understands urgency in communication to appropriate partners and stakeholders, on system, technical or business impact issues/risks, working quickly to resolve and understand mitigation for the future.
  • Maintains currency on technology emerging trends and best practices as it is related to business objectives.
  • Coaches/mentors/develops associates in career development and performance; shares knowledge to support balancing workload across the team and build bench strength in the team.
  • Recommends training programs for developing appropriate skills within areas of responsibility.
  • Establishes a feedback loop on performance objectives for individuals of the functional team; conducts performance evaluations, prepares succession plans, advocates career development, and engages in the merit process as defined by HR.

Minimum Salary: $121,000.00

Maximum Salary: $165,060.00

VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 10+ years related professional experience including 2-5 years of management experience.
  • 4-year degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills; listening and understanding aptitude; strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills to build strong relationships and influence others.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with changing and/or competing priorities, with a high level of detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to articulate detailed action plans, and ability to set and work within designated timelines.
  • Ability to manage project deliverables and exercise flexibility when priorities change.
  • Ability to coach and mentor individual contributors to achieve their maximum potential and continue to grow and develop on their desired career path.

Additional Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of Merchandising and MP&A processes in a Specialty Retail environment is preferred.
  • Broad knowledge base in related applications and end user functions, including custom development and vendor packaged software solutions.
  • Experience with agile methodology.
  • Understanding of SAP, Blue Yonder (fka JDA), Impact Analytics or other vendor applications is beneficial.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel; Visio experience is beneficial.
