About Our Real Estate Law Firm:

Ganek PC has been active in the practice of real estate law since 1978. Although our firm concentrates on residential and commercial purchases and sales, new construction, refinances and bulk transactions, we also have experience in REO, relocation, auctions, short sales, special projects, and a variety of other real estate transactions. About the Real Estate Closing Coordinator Role:

An ideal candidate should have one or more years of experience working as a residential real estate pre-closer and be familiar with the entire pre-closing process.  The candidate should have experience in the title and settlement industry, specifically focused on closing purchase transactions in a high-volume environment. He or she will be very time-conscious, and able to track multiple deliverables for many files simultaneously. The candidate will work concurrently with multiple external parties, as well as internal title curative specialists, real estate Closers and attorneys to move a file to a “Clear to Close” status.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Ordering title and performing the initial review of reports provided by our title examiners
  • Tracking and receiving mortgage and lien payoffs, HOA letters, and tax information
  • Obtaining commission payment information from real estate agents involved in the transaction
  • Maintaining consistent, timely and professional communication with both clients and fellow staff members regarding the status of the file
  • Enjoy speaking with clients by phone
  • Quickly replying to emails from clients and fellow staff members
  • Ensuring the system is consistently updated with all important email and phone communications
  • Escalating any items that could affect the closing date to attorneys and/or Closers
  • Driving closing performance, meeting closings dates, and providing exceptional customer experience
  • Collaborating with the title department to resolve title issues
Who You Are:

You are very detail oriented. You are comfortable communicating with lenders, taxing authorities and others to obtain information. You can juggle multiple priorities and are very time conscious. You understand the importance of closing dates and working diligently to ensure real estate transactions close on time. You carry yourself in a professional manner.

  • Ability to professionally manage challenging customers, to diffuse conflict situations and resolve closing issues quickly
  • Ability to work on multiple files concurrently without making errors
  • Exemplary organizational skills
  • Ability to manage high volume transactions in a paperless environment
  • Intermediate to advanced experience working within closing software systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with SoftPro Select a plus
