TheaterMania (part of AudienceView), a top digital platform for theater and live events in North America and beyond, seeks a dynamic individual to join our Promotions team. Founded in 1999, TheaterMania connects the theater and performing arts industry with a mass consumer audience, comprehensive listings, ticket sales, news, reviews, features, interviews, and video content covering live theater and the performing arts across the United States and in London (via WhatsOnStage).

As Ad Operations Coordinator, you will work in the Promotions Team to manage email and digital advertising campaigns on behalf of our TheaterMania advertising clients and our editorial team. You will support the day-to-day execution, management and optimization of ad campaigns, systems and inventory across email, digital, and paid social channels.


We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys interacting with clients and juggling multiple projects at once. The ideal person enjoys understanding how promotional campaigns work and is always looking for ways to improve the process and the results.


What you'll do:

  • Work closely with our TheaterMania Sales and Editorial teams to assemble and deliver email promotions and newsletters.
  • Maintain our advertising and editorial promotions calendar through Asana.
  • Collect advertising collateral from our clients and run the campaigns.
  • Send tests to our internal and external clients and seek approvals before delivering the campaigns.
  • Perform QA before campaign launch by testing links and proofing copy.
  • Compile the campaign results and present them to the Account Executives in a concise and organized report, and make recommendations and support optimizations of campaigns frequently for best performance and delivery.
  • Provide results and learnings in post-campaign review; leverage learnings to optimize future campaigns and find areas of growth and need.
  • Stay on top of the industry regarding new ad products, formats and regulations.
  • Create a knowledge base for the internal team and share to review standard methodologies, ad formats, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot ad serving errors, report discrepancies and broken creatives.


What you'll need:

  • Experience in or desire to work in digital advertising sales operations.
  • 1-2 years of experience with email marketing and automation tools, ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Working knowledge of Meta Ad Manager.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with internal and external clients.
  • Strong command of written and spoken communication. 
  • The primary tools you will use to perform the duties of this job are listed below. Within 30 days, you should be proficient in each of these. Prior experience is preferred but not required: Meta advertising platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Ad Manager, MS Excel, and Salesforce
