Job description

Across the United States, 6 in 10 adults – or 133 million Americans, live with one or more chronic conditions. Chronic disease is today’s leading cause of death and disability in the US and the leading driver of the nation’s $4.1 trillion in annual healthcare costs. Patients who live with chronic conditions require far more touch points than our primary care physicians have time to deliver and the result is countless health emergencies and costly ER visits that could be prevented. Workforce shortages and lack of technologies make it difficult to give patients the attention they need.

At Cadence, our mission is to deliver life-changing care to over one million patients living with chronic disease by the end of the decade. We mitigate the impact of chronic disease by using technology and a world-class clinical team to remotely monitor, manage, and support patients at home. Together with our growing network of health system partners, we deliver guideline-directed care to tens of thousands of patients today while producing best-in-class clinical outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Contribute to the monthly financial close by performing account reconciliations, analyzing month-end financials, and completing internal reports. Ensure accurate and timely close activities to support overall financial accuracy and insight.
  • Prepare and deliver timely, accurate monthly invoices to customers. Track accounts receivable aging, contribute to collection efforts, and handle customer inquiries to help maintain positive client relationships.
  • Monitor daily cash balances, support cash flow tracking, and assist with banking activities like transfers and deposits, while maintaining accurate records to support effective cash management.
  • Manage the expense reporting process, including overseeing employee expenses, reviewing monthly transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and file tax and compliance documents with federal, state, and local agencies. Ensure all filings are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Contribute to ad hoc finance and accounting projects, including process improvements, system upgrades, and data analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and optimize workflows.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and their application in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
