This is a fully Remote role within the US (preference to west coast/ mountain time).

The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices. This position will oversee a team of 2 and will report to the Accounting Director .

What You Will Do

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring monthly close targets are hit.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Coordinate and manage external audits, including preparation and submission of audit documentation.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement new financial systems and tools as needed (Blackline/Floqast, Cap s/w etc.).
• Supervise and manage the accounting team, providing training, support, and performance evaluations. (1 senior and 1 staff accountant)
• Assist in SOX implementation and maintenance.
• Ad hoc duties including acquisition and technical accounting as assigned.
  
  

Who You Are

• Someone who demonstrates ability and motivation to work collaboratively across regions and functions, as well as working independently with minimal oversight.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, are highly detailed, organized, and can handle multiple competing deadlines.
  
  

What You Have

• 6+ years overall experience in accounting 2+ of which with a Software or SaaS company
• Public accounting experience and CPA is required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• 3+ years of management experience
• Strong accounting systems experience. Knowledge of NetSuite is preferred.
