Direct to Consumer Marketing Manager, Inflammation
What you will do

In this vital role you will play a key role in driving the mission by managing the day-to-day direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand strategy and activations for Otezla® brand. Critical to the role will be an in-depth understanding of consumers with plaque psoriasis and their habits & passions to strengthen brand relevance, drive patient acquisition and breakthrough in an increasingly competitive landscape.
Core Responsibilities:
- Campaign Development: Lead the flawless execution of our marketing campaign strategy, focusing on asset development and channel-specific recommendations for traditional media outlets and audio. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional team members to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with business goals. Work closely with social media leads and HCP team to identify and leverage synergies across all marketing channels, driving consistency and increasing impact across the ecosystem. Monitor campaign performance consistently and provide actionable insights to optimize the campaign.
- Custom Activation: Q2/Q3 Custom Activation Campaign: Lead the execution of the custom activation campaign including creative asset development, media partnerships, and talent management. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure activation across all relevant teams and channels. Additionally, create a detailed performance analysis to assess the campaign's impact and effectiveness.
- Q4 Custom Activation Campaign: Full ownership of the end-to-end responsibilities for the Q3/Q4 custom activation campaign. Develop a strategic recommendation for the campaign, brief the agency, and lead the creative development process, talent selection, and media plan recommendations to implement the creative successfully. After campaign execution, partner with cross-functional teams to analyze campaign performance and generate actionable recommendations for future custom activations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Strategic Collaboration & Campaign Development: Contribute to the creation of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team that challenges industry norms and sets new standards for patient engagement. Help refine and expand a robust, data-driven marketing plan to effectively connect with and activate consumers at key moments in their patient journey.
- Cross-Functional Teamwork & Coordination: Work closely with brand and media teams to ensure activation strategies support campaign messaging and reach the right consumers across various touchpoints. Build strong relationships with partners across departments, including HCP Marketing, Corporate Communications, Advocacy, Operations, and Business Analytics, to deliver integrated marketing solutions.
- Agency Relations: Maintain day-to-day relationships with external agencies, ensuring smooth execution of marketing initiatives and alignment with business goals.
- Innovation & Process Standardization: Champion continuous innovation and learning, sharing best practices and standard processes across the organization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Regulatory & Legal Partnership: Manage the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval process for new marketing materials, ensuring all consumer communications are responsible and compliant.
- Budget Oversight & Tracking: Lead and manage the Otezla Direct to Consumer marketing budget, working with cross-functional partners to ensure tracking is accurate and that the budget remains within +/- 5% of forecast on a quarterly basis.
- Website Management: Oversee updates to the Otezla.com website, partnering with internal teams and agencies to ensure content reflects the business objectives and campaign goals.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Partner with cross-functional teams to track key performance indicators and evaluate creative success for media initiatives. Provide regular reports and actionable insights to the leadership team, recommending optimizations based on data-driven findings.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Or
Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Or
Associate’s Degree and 8 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Or
High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proven leadership abilities, including managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and providing constructive feedback to creative agencies and internal teams to ensure alignment with brand standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Extensive experience performing creative strategies for marketing campaigns, maintaining brand consistency, and driving measurable results.
- Up-to-date knowledge of marketing trends, standard methodologies, and emerging technologies, with a passion for continuous learning in the ever-evolving digital landscape
- Experience working with creative agencies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring marketing materials align with campaign objectives.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities while maintaining a focus on achieving results.
- Prior healthcare industry experience with an understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
