POSITION OVERVIEW

The Business Analyst will be a key member of the Revenue Operations team. Reporting to the team leader and directly supporting the Business Operations team as well as senior leaders across the company, the Analyst’s primary responsibility is to ensure that each customer is receiving the correct contract price and track contract fees and rebates.  The business analyst will also have the opportunity to work with key sales leaders across the company to understand their key business questions and the KPIs that drive them. The Business Operations & Pricing Analyst will work heavily with tools such as Excel, Power BI, and other licensed software.  This is an opportunity for a young professional who wants to have immediate impact at a small, fast-growth mission-driven company.

·        Lead the monthly/quarterly/annual fee audit and rebate calculation process for distribution and channel partners.  Work across the team to ensure accruals are made, and payments are processed on time.

·        Assist in the creation and maintenance of automated reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and proprietary software.

·        Work across the team and with other Kate Farms pricing and contract stakeholders to understand their core business challenges and utilize data to help uncover opportunities through data mining, mapping, modeling, and testing.

·        Coordinate with channel partners to validate and reconcile contract pricing discrepancies in a timely manner.

·        Work closely with all members of the Pricing and Contract Strategy team to prioritize projects across supporting the company while also completing work with efficiency and accuracy.

·        Complete ad hoc data requests for field account and channel leadership to help drive customer engagement and commercial growth.

·        Work at the center of the Kate Farms mission: use data and resulting models to uncover opportunities to serve more people and help them live their best lives.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH

·        BS/BA in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields with 0-2 years of experience in Marketing/Sales Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research, Consulting, or other work history/internships in relevant field.

·        Advanced knowledge of Excel (nested formulas including xlookup, sumifs, index/match, pivot tables, and power query).

·        Ability to present detailed but simple stories from complex data.

·        Ability to translate business questions and data into visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.

·        Curiosity and ability to understand not just the “Why?” but the “What now?” behind the data and trends.
