What’s the opportunity?

The Global Payroll Manager will oversee payroll operations across the NAMER region, with a strong focus on the USA, Canada, and other American countries. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in local employment laws, statutory compliance, benefits administration, registrations, and filings. Will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery for multiple payroll frequencies (monthly, bi-weekly, weekly) and act as the key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders.

What you'll do:

Payroll Operations:

  • End-to-end ownership of payroll delivery across USA, Canada & Latam.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across various frequencies (monthly, bi-weekly, weekly).
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state/provincial, and local payroll laws and regulations.

Compliance & Benefits:

  • Monitor and implement changes in payroll laws and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee benefits processing including health insurance, 401(k)/RRSP, paid time off, and statutory benefits (CPP, EI, Social Security, etc.).
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax reports, year-end forms (W-2, T4,1099, etc.), and employer registrations.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary POC for internal stakeholders Finance, Implementation,
  • Product).
  • Manage external partners and payroll vendors, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Handle escalations and complex queries from clients and employees.
  • Team Management & Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of payroll specialists, setting KPIs and conducting performance reviews.
  • Provide training and guidance as when needed
  • Support to the Implementation team
  • Support implementation teams during payroll transitions period

Pre-Sales:

  • Act as the go-to person for the Sales team for payroll-related RFPs and

prospect discussions.

What are we looking for

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in managing payroll in the USA and Canada, with exposure to other Americas regions preferred.
  • Minimum 2years of experience in team handling
  • In-depth knowledge of local laws, tax regulations, benefits, statutory filings, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in multi-country payroll management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Worked in the Payroll USA & Canada Payroll software in the past
