Salesforce Software Engineer/Developer II - Test (Remote, Full-Time)

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Level 2 Software Engineer/Developer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your Salesforce expertise to design, implement, and optimize solutions that meet complex business needs. Ideal candidates will possess a strong technical skill set, an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Salesforce Development: Design and develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Aura.
- Database Querying: Utilize SOQL, SOSL, and SQL to create efficient queries for data retrieval and management.
- System Integration: Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using middleware tools (e.g., Jitterbit, MuleSoft, or home grown).
- Configuration & Administration: Customize and configure Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud applications, workflows, and security settings.
- Collaborative Development: Work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Documentation & Troubleshooting: Document solutions and troubleshoot issues to ensure system stability and performance.
- Salesforce Production Support: Participate in Salesforce production support, ensuring timely resolution of system issues, performance optimization, and minimal downtime.
- Salesforce Admin Configuration: Perform advanced Salesforce configurations, including workflows, validation rules, security settings, roles, profiles, and custom objects.
- Other Development: Leverage expertise in other software development languages and tools to support integration and business logic implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Aura, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Hands-on experience with middleware tools for system integration.
- Proficiency in SQL for database management.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud implementations.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce platform configuration and administration best practices.
- Certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required); Platform Developer II or Administrator certification (preferred).
- Experience: 3-5 years of Salesforce development experience. Experience with additional software development languages is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare industry or familiarity with healthcare-specific Salesforce use cases.
- Advanced knowledge of middleware platforms such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi.
