As the Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Manager, you will oversee the development and execution of the enterprise's data strategy, data management, process improvement, analytics, and reporting initiatives. This role is integral to providing actionable insights across the organization by leading a team of analysts and data scientists to deliver high-impact business intelligence solutions. As the The Senior Business Intelligence Manager, you will apply strong analytical capabilities, deep technical understanding, and a strategic business mindset to drive value and innovation. In addition to technical expertise, you will need to demonstrate keen business acumen and an entrepreneurial approach to executing initiatives. The role will act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment. The Senior Business Intelligence Manager will also support automation efforts, enabling the company to harness data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and drive business growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models, to provide actionable insights for senior leadership and other departments.
  • Lead and mentor a team of BI professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and marketing, to identify key business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership and best practices on BI tools, technologies, and processes to enhance data accessibility and usability across the organization.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of reports and analytics across various business units, balancing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of data governance and quality standards to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of all BI data.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to support the development and deployment of BI tools and services.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling, with the ability to analyze large, complex data sets.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams, with a track record of driving, high performance and professional development.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and privacy standards.


EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of analytics and/or management experience with at least 3 years of experience leading teams in building and maintaining data warehouses, Analytics, BI applications, and data management processes preferred.
