ABOUT THE ROLE

The IT Product Manager, M365 Productivity will manage and optimize the implementation of Sound Physician’s M365 suite of applications.  This role will ensure that service offerings from Microsoft meet company standards and customer needs, overseeing the entire lifecycle of the product.

This individual, under the direction of the Director of IT Product Management, collaborates with Sound Physicians users to understand business needs, develops roadmaps based on needs, develops communication and educational materials, manages changes to the product, manages licenses and provides Tier 3 support.

 

The Details:  This is a full-time, remote position.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Vendor and License Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendor partners.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage licenses ensuring an efficient provisioning process and management of licenses.

 

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of M365 applications from implementation to retirement.
  • Ensure applications meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date on new product releases.
  • Work closely with technology teams to manage and support product releases.

 

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., HR, regional/site operations, finance, accounting, marketing, sales, clinical leadership) to understand business problems, business processes, productivity needs and feedback.
  • Communicate product plans and releases to internal stakeholders including executives and team members.
  • Accountable for the development of communication and education materials (including knowledge base articles, live training sessions, newsletter content and LMS courses)
  • Promote standardization and best practices across stakeholder groups where appropriate; this includes leading a champions program within Sound Physicians to facilitate best practices and share knowledge.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the business processes.
  • Have a thorough understanding of M365 applications’ capabilities (particularly Teams Premium and Copilot) and the efficiencies that could be realized within the business processes.
  • Delight the stakeholders and increase adoption of M365 applications.

 

Roadmap, Product Backlog and Strategy:

  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with company strategy and customer needs.
  • Prioritize the release of product features and improvements based on business value and customer impact.
  • Accountable for the development of communication and education materials for new features within the release cycle as well as incorporating user feedback into the product roadmap.

 

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify M365 productivity opportunities.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decisions.

 

Project Management:

  • Use change management best practices (training, education, communication) to manage feature releases.

 

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with feature releases.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.

 

Customer Focus:

  • Ensure products deliver exceptional user experiences.

 

Production Support:

  • Conduct analysis to determine root cause of reported issues.
  • Provide Tier II support to users.
  • Create Business Continuity Plan.
  • Create knowledge base articles for Tier 0 support/self-help.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a product manager.
  • Five years of experience in driving user adoption of a technology platform through training, communications and education material.
  • Experience with Teams Premium and Copilot, thorough understanding of the capabilities each feature offers.

 

  • $90,000- $115,000 annually. Exact pay will be determined based on candidate experience, geographic location, and the size/complexity of the program being supported.
