Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Quantum Ledger Database (QLDB) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of distributed ledger technology, particularly Amazon QLDB, and possess hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining QLDB-based solutions. As a QLDB Engineer at Certchain, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing our blockchain-based credential verification platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- QLDB Development: Design, implement, and maintain Certchain’s blockchain infrastructure, with a focus on Amazon QLDB.
- System Architecture: Collaborate with the development team to architect scalable and secure systems that leverage QLDB for managing digital records.
- Smart Contracts: Develop and deploy smart contracts on QLDB, ensuring they meet security, efficiency, and business logic requirements.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize the performance and efficiency of QLDB-based solutions to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Security: Implement robust security measures and best practices to safeguard digital records and sensitive information stored on the QLDB platform.
- Integration: Integrate QLDB with other technologies, databases, and external APIs as needed to enhance the functionality of Certchain’s platform.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for QLDB-based solutions, ensuring knowledge transfer within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining blockchain solutions, with a focus on Amazon QLDB.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Familiarity with smart contract development and implementation.
- Experience with distributed ledger technologies, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic techniques.
- Solid understanding of database management and optimization principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Amazon QLDB or other relevant blockchain technologies.
- Experience with quantum computing and its potential applications in blockchain.
Location: The Philippines, Remote
Contract Type: Contractual (4 Hours a Day)
