Purpose
Drives the product development, global strategy, growth and profitability (P&L) of respective solution line across the Clinisys portfolio. This role owns the global strategy, product development and product management team focused on moving the applicable product solution forward into a new era of insights and business solutions. Strategy responsibilities apply inspiring and applying audience, market, and product insights to our clients’ objectives; creating robust comms strategies and tactics; and working with our internal teams and partner agencies to present the best and most interesting ideas. In addition, you will lead a team of software development leaders and architects which will require you to collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and deliver high quality software for laboratories, hospitals and adjacent markets. You will utilize your leadership, product and engineering skills to drive the strategic vision, innovation and execution of our products in order to exceed the department and company’s business objectives.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop a comprehensive, inclusive strategic plan for the solution line. This plan will include strategic options and projected outcomes, potential sequencing and funding, and capabilities and roadmap to execution.
- Lead development leaders and product management leaders in the oversight of the development of strategic products and ensure adequate resource availability, the use of appropriate technology, upholding of quality standards, and on-time delivery of software releases.
- Challenges the development teams to ensure the appropriate strategic, technical and tactical solutions are being implemented.
- Involved in project intake triaging relating to additional requests and initiatives to determine the impact along with prioritization if needed..
- Ensure activities comply with departmental development methodologies as well as regulatory and quality standards.
- Work within the Clinisys innovation framework and process to differentiate the company in the market, provide unique value to customers and help build long-term relationships with customers.
- Identify and scope business model innovations and strategic capabilities that transform the organization and create step-change value
- Create a well-balanced innovation product portfolio and roadmap that drives financial and strategic value and top line organic and inorganic growth.
- Develop and nurture external partnerships and networks that can lead to the development of new, innovative business models and/or profitable collaborations within the product line.
- Evaluate and interpret market shifts, long term trends, competitive and customer intelligence to inform strategic business decisions
- Ensure the company is successful in taking its innovations to market in a timely and scalable way.
- Set framework for Quarterly strategy sessions, summarize insights, identify strategic priorities, and help guide resource allocation

Required Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree Business, Healthcare, Software, or related discipline
- 10 years’ in the healthcare/software industry
- 10+ years’ experience managing teams
Preferred Experience & Education
- MBA or other relevant post graduate degree
- Experience collaborating with globally dispersed teams
- Agile Development/Cloud technologies
Supervisory Responsibilities
2-8 direct reports up to 50-100 indirect reports

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $180,000 to $220,000 for annual base salary. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed remotely or in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds with assistance as part of office routine
- 50% Travel may be required
- Moderate lifting/carrying 15-44 lbs.; use of fingers; walking/standing 2-6 hours
- Exposure to hazardous materials or various weather conditions
- Travel to client sites that can pose risk associated with healthcare organization
- May be required to follow customer location health and safety requirements
