The Zillow Group Payment Program Management Team is a team dedicated to driving our team towards achieving its mission of delivering timely, complete, and accurate billing processes.

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Payment Program Management team! As a Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of billing and payments projects, while also analyzing operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing enhancements to optimize efficiency and accuracy across all Zillow billing and payment workflows in our Enterprise Billing Software system, Zuora. We are seeking individuals with a keen strategic mindset and passion for precision for the following responsibilities:

  • Evaluate billing and payments operational processes to improve existing flows in collaboration with various teams.
  • Drive operational projects to improve efficiency and functionality in Zuora with both up and downstream systems.
  • Serve as primary contact for SOX and compliance reviews.
  • Gather business solution platform requirements from key customer business stakeholders
  • Document and plan customized business software features based on requirements gathering process
  • Analyze upstream customer ERP system scenarios and transform into actionable recommendations across functions
  • Review changes, test results, and custom solutions to ensure they meet customer expectations
  • Lead UAT review and approval processes alongside cross functional stakeholders
  • Support solution deployment to final production of customized solutions
  • Serve as a Zuora SME to support a variety of Zuora configurations, as needed, based on business changes and upstream system modifications

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $75,100.00 - $119,900.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Finance, or Accounting
  • 5+ years experience in a fast-paced technology company, focusing on Finance, eCommerce, and operational and support models
  • 5+ years Accounting or Corporate Finance, with experience working in Enterprise ERP/Billing software (Zuora, NetSuite, Oracle)
  • Familiarity with PCI, NACHA, and SOX audit requirements, controls and compliance initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with BI/analytics software like Domo, Pazien, Tableau, etc.
  • Highly organized and efficient professional, adept at cross-functional teamwork and task prioritization
  • Outstanding business acumen, quick learner, problem solver, great communicator, and interpersonal skills
