The American Marketing Association is looking for a Strategic Partnership Intern for the Summer of 2025!

What to know about this role

  • This is a ten (10) week, 30-hour per-week internship from Monday, June 9th, 2025 to Friday, August 15th, 2025. 
  • The hourly rate for this position is: $18.00 per hour
  • We are a fully remote organization with team members across the country. Work from the comfort of your home, a local coffee shop, or wherever in the U.S. brings you joy! Please note that you MUST live in one of the following states to be considered for this temporary role:

At the American Marketing Association, our Strategic Partnerships team is transforming our B2B and Enterprise Solutions division, and we're looking for a driven intern to join us. You'll be key in driving this 400% YoY growth, supporting program implementation, ensuring customer success, and contributing to key business development initiatives.

Imagine gaining hands-on experience in areas like program management, client relations, and strategic marketing within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You’ll learn the inner workings of a thriving B2B operation and develop highly sought-after skills. Here, you'll dive into projects like developing and documenting standardized processes for program delivery, creating and maintaining automated reporting systems, and even supporting the development of marketing collateral and sales enablement materials. This internship is a unique opportunity to contribute to a leading organization in the marketing world, build a strong portfolio, and develop a unique understanding of marketing from a strategic perspective that only the AMA can offer.

 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Create sales enablement materials and customer fulfillment assets
  • Develop new customer acquisition plans for outreach (research into competitive offerings)
  • Develop ICP (ideal customer profile) and basic competitive landscape research
  • Customer pipeline and customer success management

 

What you bring to the table

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business administration, marketing, or communications
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience in identifying ideal customer personas (i.e. through a class or previous internship)
  • Experience working in Canva and Google Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of basic business operations and processes

 

What you may also have

  • Prior experience in professional sales/marketing roles
  • Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce/Hubspot) and/or CMS (WordPress) 

 

What to expect from the interview process

  • Hiring Manager resume review
  • One-way video interview on Spark Hire (We promise this isn’t scary! Our questions are well thought out and we wanted your answers to be as well. So you have unlimited think time for each of the five questions we ask!) that will take 15-20 minutes.
  • 30-minute phone interview with a member of AMA’s People and Culture team 
  • Virtual Interview with the hiring manager with whom you’ll be working closely.
