Job Overview
In this pivotal role, you will not only develop and manage but also help execute the operational strategies for our coaching program, aimed at enhancing efficiency, coach & creator satisfaction, and creator success. You will actively engage with cross-functional teams—Product, People Operations, Finance, and Legal—to ensure seamless operations and the delivery of a best-in-class experience for both our coaches and creators. Your direct involvement in crafting, refining, and implementing operational systems will be essential as we drive strategic improvements and advance our mission to empower YouTube creators globally.
This position is designed for someone who is highly organized, analytical, and enjoys hands-on management. We are looking for a proactive leader who is adept at personally managing remote teams and scaling service-oriented operations, especially within the gig economy. Your responsibilities will include not only planning and strategizing but also the hands-on execution of day-to-day operational tasks within our coaching program.
Reporting to the Chief Creator Coach, you will work closely with our coaching, product, and management teams to lead operational growth and ensure the continued success and expansion of our coaching program. As a hands-on Operations Manager, you will be directly involved in setting standards and implementing best practices that cater to the dynamic needs of YouTube creators worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Continuous Process & Framework Development
Drive and manage key initiatives to expand and streamline our coaching services.
Develop, document, and optimize frameworks to enhance the coach/creator experience.
Regularly review operational processes to ensure they meet evolving business needs.
Recruitment & Onboarding of Coaches
Fully responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of coaches, ensuring a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates and their effective integration into the team.
Oversee and refine onboarding processes, training materials, and related resources to help new coaches thrive.
Coach & Creator Relationship Management
Implement data-driven systems to track key performance indicators for coaches (e.g., client satisfaction, retention rates) and use it to identify areas for improvement.
Establish escalation protocols for underperformance or quality concerns, and coordinate corrective actions.
Maintain a feedback loop with coaches to identify common challenges or success stories for ongoing process iteration.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
Work with Finance to coordinate payment structures, budgeting, and accurate compensation tracking.
Coordinate with Legal/PeopleOps on compliance needs, ensuring operational processes are fully compliant with relevant guidelines.
Partner with the Product team to optimize and align internal tools (e.g., scheduling, analytics) for maximum efficiency.
Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams to enhance user experience, troubleshoot issues, and gather feedback.
Ongoing Improvement & Innovation
Deeply Engage with the Remote Gig Economy: Stay at the forefront of trends and shifts within the creator economy and the broader gig economy, understanding how these changes can impact and propel our coaching operations
Innovate with Purpose: Proactively scout and integrate new tools, technologies, or methods specifically suited to enhancing operations within a gig economy framework, ensuring our coaches and creators benefit from the latest advancements.
Foster a Culture of Creative Experimentation: Champion a test-and-learn environment that encourages experimentation and innovation, rooted in data-driven decision-making, to continuously refine our approach and excel within the creator gig economy.
