 Job Summary: 

  • To guide and direct the staff responsibilities related to all alumnae engagement and development efforts.
  • To facilitate the smooth operation of alumnae member and chapter/association processes.
  • To build and maintain a strong working relationship with the Executive Offices staff, alumnae and extension teams.
  • To perform assigned duties in conformity with the Constitution and policies of Delta Gamma Fraternity and Foundation

 Essential Functions: 

  • Provide exceptional customer service and membership experience as the primary alumnae staff representative for Executive Offices. 
  • Lead staff team whose work focuses on alumnae members and alumnae groups. 
  • Serve as the primary alumnae contact for NPC and complementary IHQ staff.
  • Develop and organize cultivation events for alumnae, including education and outreach.
  • Contribute to the alumnae training module development with Training, Development and Member Experience Department
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications department and alumnae team to develop and implement resource materials and other publications.
  • Attend volunteer leadership meetings with Council Trustee: Alumnae, alumnae directors, and RASs/ADCs, serving as a primary staff contact for these volunteers.
  • Oversee alumnae-related working groups.
  • Seek out locations for and oversee the process of establishing new alumnae groups.
  • Monitor alumnae volunteer efforts at revitalization of alumnae groups.
  • Collaborate with assistant director for growth and development and extension team to identify and research areas or cities for extension and/or revitalization opportunities to coordinate alumnae member and alumnae group involvement in the collegiate extension/revitalization process.
  • Oversee alumnae training opportunities and contribute to curriculum for events including Alumnae Delegate Training (Convention); Alumnae Group Academy (AGA); RAS/ADC training at The Leadership Collective, etc.
  • Collaborate with alumnae volunteers and staff on the development and initial implementation of new alumnae programs.
  • Develop, produce, and implement alumnae per capita dues and Loyally Anchored campaigns in collaboration with relevant staff members.
  • Develop, promote, and execute an alumnae-focused contest each biennium in connection with Convention.
  • Review and update the Fraternity Standards for Alumnae Groups annually in collaboration with the Director: Alumnae Operations.
  • Support the annual Alumnae Group Evaluation process with Council Trustee: Alumnae and the Director: Alumnae Operations.
  • Manage and oversee credentials for all alumnae chapters each biennium in preparation for Convention.
  • Provide leadership and supervise alumnae resources specialist and alumnae membership & engagement specialist  by monitoring workflow, suggesting efficiency improvements, and tracking trends.
  • Serve as secondary supportive contact for alumnae officers, Regional Alumnae Specialists and Alumnae Development Consultants.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with outside vendors that provide services to the alumnae membership (memberplanet, Herff Jones, OmegaOne, etc.).

Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive environments where belonging is valued.
  • Bachelor’s degree and membership in Delta Gamma Fraternity preferred.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, assertive and energetic professional.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and professionalism, as well as communication, organizational, problem-solving and facilitation skills.
  • Excel at relationship building to motivate staff and volunteers.
  • Effective at leading, organizing and implementing short and long-term projects.
  • Confident and comfortable speaking to a variety of audiences.
  • Effectively manage budgets with a focus on return on investment.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
