We are seeking an experienced professional in Outside Sales. That participates in various Outside Sales activities and customer relationship management. You will be responsible for representing the company's interests and building business relationships to enhance outside sales performance.

Role Responsibilities

  • Engage District Sales Office (DSO)/Rep/Distributor organizations and align with construction channel stakeholders to secure basis of design and sale of new construction hotel projects.

  • Work with Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) to understand technical requirements of Hospitality Brands.

  • Work with SAM to identify and prioritize project opportunities.

  • Identifies bid opportunities, prepares bid responses, and negotiates with potential customers.

  • Develops new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.

  • Attends trade shows at times to increase the visibility of the organization and potentially influence prospects.

  • Utilize Salesforce.com (SFDC) to build and maintain project opportunity pipeline.

Role Purpose

  • Increase Carrier's penetration of new construction opportunities in Hospitality vertical market.

  • Drive full HVAC equipment and controls sales.

  • Increase service attachment rate for equipment and controls.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 5+ years of experience selling HVAC systems to Mechanical Engineers and contractors.

  • Valid Driver’s license.

  • Ability to travel 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in mechanical engineering.

  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems both applied and unitary.

  • Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Pay Range:

$112,828 - $157,959 Annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
