We are currently searching for a Remote QA Analyst - Insurance:

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Duck Creek Policy, Billing, and Claims modules.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure the quality of Duck Creek implementations.
  • Validate insurance domain-specific workflows, including policy lifecycle, underwriting, claims processing, and billing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools while ensuring timely resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for issues and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies during testing.
  • Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-production validation.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a QA Analyst.
  • Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Policy, Billing, and/or Claims modules.
  • Proficiency in testing tools and methodologies, including manual and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database validation and querying.
  • Strong understanding of insurance workflows, including policy administration, underwriting, claims, and billing.
  • Experience working with property and casualty (P&C) insurance or other insurance lines.

Languages

  • English (Intermediate)
  • Native Spanish.
